Valcooks Designer Hostess Aprons kicks off the New Year with an appearance at the 2nd Annual Tasty Awards in Hollywood, CA. The Tasty Awards, “the Emmy’s of the food entertainment”, celebrates and recognizes the BEST in food, fashion and home lifestyle programing on Television, Film and Online. A selection of Valcooks will be presented at the Tasty Awards Gifting Suite on January 12, 2011. The RedCarpet Awards Show will be held at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, CA on January 13, 2011. Portions of the nationally televised broadcast will be viewed by millions on Hulu.com and other partner sites.

2010 Launches Valcooks Into the National Spotlight

What a year for Valcooks Hostess Aprons in 2010. Valcooks achieved the national spotlight beginning with the interview on the nationally syndicated entertainment magazine, “First Look” on LXTV. The momentum continued with the two appearances on HSN (Home Shopping Network). Topping off the year was the introduction of Valcooks Designer Aprons to Sears online! Magazine and newspaper articles include “Me: In Focus”, “Chicago Hush”, “UpTown Social”, Chicago Sun-Times, Florida Sentinel Bulletin, numerous blogs and several radio interview broadcasts. Valcooks, LLC introduced the new men’s line and the Valcooks Cup Cushion. Time flies when you’re having FUN. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all my supporters, customers and suppliers for what I can only call a FABULOUSLY successful year. The company will be turning 3 in February, 2011, with exciting things to come in 2011. Stay tuned...

Valcooks Hostess Aprons in the White House

I am excited to announce, Valcooks Designer Hostess Aprons have made it to the White House! Yesterday, I received a thank you from our First Lady, Michelle Obama. The note was almost tossed, by accident. I receive so much junk mail; I initially thought it was political advertisement. But then, I saw my full name and the company, Valcooks, LLC on the envelope. That’s when it hit me...a response from the gift set I sent to our First Lady back in December, 2009.

The Valcooks gift set included one of a kind version of the “First Lady” apron, which was inspired by Mrs. Obama and the 2008 Presidential Election, “Cranberry Christmas”, limited edition “Poppy”, and the “Black & White Paisley” - recently featured on HSN on July 27, 2010.

Wouldn’t it be a blast to see her wearing her Valcooks Hostess Apron at a private party in the White House?!
